Steel-leach tanks repair

Hindle Mason Projects completed this project in record time and to the satisfaction of this important client, one of the largest uranium miners in Namibia.

We were appointed to apply a quality polyurea coating on steel leech tanks before they received isolation.

Hindle Mason Projects was awarded the contract based on our extensive skills, experience and capacities as a leading corrosion-protection specialist. Our client knew that we were more than equipped to deliver a service that complied with the strict engineering specification.

This includes the ability to apply the polyurea coating with a specialised two-component machine. It provides complete control over the material temperature; operating parameters; and other essential limitations, such as material consumption.

A plural component hot sprayed applied high-performance coating is being used for this application. A very fast curing, waterproofing and protection membrane, it facilitates immediate return-to-service, while its spray application also enables rapid coverage of the substrate.
