Inline Feeder

We are forging ahead with the refurbishment of inline feeder chutes inside a silo for one of our top mining clients.
 
Our skilled and experienced team have made light work of an otherwise straight forward project thus far. We are, therefore, on track towards completing the refurbishment of all six 2m x 1,5m inline feeder chutes within budget and according to specifications provided by the professional engineering team. The scope of work will be completed within the original programme and timeframe provided.
 
Our work scope commences after the old steel plates have been removed. We start by removing all existing bolts and core drilling new holes for fasteners. Thereafter, we break out the surrounding damaged concrete, before installing the reinforcement bar and commencing with shuttering to reinstate the concrete with specialised concrete repair materials.
 
A free-flowing, high strength, cementitious micro concrete with a maximum aggregate size of 9mm is being used to cast the concrete elements. It is simple to mix, apply and finish, while also providing excellent adhesion properties.
